I'm a designer, but as a kid I dreamed of becoming an architect like my father.

I was born and raised in Campo Grande, MS, in a warm home filled with drawings, comics, photos, pencils, pens, music, and the vinyl records my mother played every weekend, each cover more fascinating than the last.

My favorite pastime was drawing. I would spend hours lost in blank pages, recreating my favorite characters from Japanese series and video games.

As I grew older, I loved watching my father work on his architecture projects. I can still picture him leaning over his drafting table, using that parallel ruler suspended by strings, scale rulers, and geometric templates. He would erase pencil lines with a razor blade, treating everything — from tracing paper to fine lines — with an almost ritualistic precision.

I would often play at his desk, exploring his tools. It was thrilling to trace shapes with his rulers, follow lines with a 0.5mm pencil, and create random geometric patterns using his templates.

My focus shifted to the digital world when I got my first computer. An entire universe opened up and I became curious about websites: “How are they made? Can I create one? About what?”

I was fascinated by layouts, typography, color palettes, sizes and proportions, customizing and analyzing everything through the source code.

It didn't take long for me to discover Design, fall in love with it, meet other designers, and start creating blogs and personal websites using Photoshop. It felt like the perfect blend of architecture and digital creativity. A natural evolution.

Luckily, the same year I took my college entrance exams, the first Design program was launched in my city. I enrolled and graduated in 2006. While still in school, I started an internship at a digital agency, building websites. This allowed me to apply what I was learning in practice, dealing with real clients and challenges.

A few years later, I realized that to advance in my career I needed to move to a bigger city with a more mature market, where I could grow and face bigger challenges. In Brazil, the natural choice was São Paulo, where I moved in 2011.

I started working at iG, a news portal known for democratizing internet access in Brazil and for pioneering free online services. Without a doubt, it was my greatest Design school. I was lucky to collaborate with talented professionals in Design, Information Architecture, Illustration, and Development, who were fundamental to my growth as a designer and as a person.

At iG I learned the importance of treating Design with care and professionalism. I still remember how impressed I was by the team's effort to refine something as simple as a button.

In 2014, I took another step in my journey by joining Enjoei as one of the company's first designers. It was my first startup experience and, over six years, I learned enormously. We built a small but highly skilled design team — including experienced colleagues from iG — and helped the company grow from a seed round to its IPO on B3 in 2020.

That same year, I sought a new challenge and joined Sírio-Libanês, one of the most respected medical centers in the world, during the Covid-19 pandemic. I contributed to the development of digital products at a critical moment for global health, helping the institution offer remote medical care through telemedicine and primary care.

From 2021 to mid-2026, I led Design at Nilo, working horizontally across the company, from a Product focus to art direction for other areas, like Marketing, People, and Sales.

Today I'm a designer at Liora, helping redefine the future of energy alongside a brilliant team.

In parallel, I develop independent design projects.

Besides being a designer, I'm a Flamengo fan, passionate about photography, gohan, Coke Zero, and Oasis, the greatest band on the planet.
